The 2015–16 season is Manchester City's 114th period of spirited football and eighty-seventh period in the top division of English football and nineteenth season in the Premier League since the league was first shaped with Manchester City as one of the unique 22 founder-members. Along with the Premier League, the club will also -brawl in the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and Football League Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
City began their league movement with the same form they had revealed at the end of the preceding season. On charming their first 4 Premier League games, on 29 August 2015 the team set a fresh club record of 10 successive league victories, beating the preceding record which had stand for 103 years.
Kit in order
The club is in the 3rd year of a contract with the American producer Nike.
Home: The new home kit skin the traditional colours of sky azure and white. The kit sees a go back to white details, which were abandoned last season in favour of navy application. The shirt has a white polo neckline collar and cuffs, along with a white strip running from the bottom of the sleeves to the side of the shirt. White shorts are return to the kit, which is joint with sky blue sock with a white turnover.
Away: The away kit is mainly navy for the 2nd period running, but this time the strip is joint with 'Chlorine Blue' detail on the crew neck plus the cuffs. The arms, though, characteristic a striking graphic of the Blue Moon, enthused by the song vocal by the club's fans at the match days. The shirt is joint with navy shorts and socks.
Third: The third kit is mostly 'Ghost Green' with black incline explicit on the arms and the base of the shorts. The yellowish green colour of the kit was enthused by the yellow and navy with stripes away kit worn by the club in the 1998-99 play-offs last, when Manchester City overcame a 2-0 shortfall to take the game to extra time and finally win on penalties. The kit is base on Nike's new premium pattern, which is also worn by other main clubs as well.
Pre-season
Manchester City are visiting Australia throughout pre-season, where they will play restricted clubs Adelaide United and Melbourne City previous to facing AS Roma and Real Madrid, runners-up in the Italian and Spanish leagues, in the 2015 International Champions Cup welcoming tournament. On their way home they will play matches next to the Vietnam nationwide team and German Bundesliga team VfB Stuttgart.
